Description
Isodecanol, also known as Isodecyl Alcohol, is a branched-chain fatty alcohol with the molecular formula C10H22O. It is a colorless, viscous liquid with a mild alcohol odor. This compound is practically insoluble in water but soluble in organic solvents such as Ether and Ethanol. It is commonly used in the production of surfactants, lubricants, and plasticizers.
