Triethylene glycol monobutyl ether has strong solubility and low toxicity. It is usually used as a solvent, Plasticizer, and wetting agent, especially in the field of Decorative Building Materials and Paints. It can be used in the formulation of water-based coatings, inks, and fiber treatment agents. It can also be used as a metal cleaning agent, adhesive component, softener, detergent, etc.
