Description

Glyphosate, with the IUPAC name N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, is a broad-spectrum systemic Herbicide and crop desiccant.It is commonly used to control unwanted plants, acting as an effective Weed Killer.This compound inhibits the plant enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSP), which is involved in the synthesis of essential aromatic amino acids in plants .

Application

Glyphosate is an organophosphorus herbicide. Endosorption-conducting broad-spectrum herbicides. It mainly resists the allyl alcohol acetonyl shikonin phosphate synthase in plants, so as to inhibit the conversion of shikonin to phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan, so that the protein synthesis is disturbed, leading to plant death.
