Description

Application

• Fertilizer: Magnesium sulfate is used as a fertilizer in agriculture to correct magnesium deficiency in crops. It is particularly useful for crops like tomatoes, potatoes, citrus, and roses, which require higher magnesium levels.

• Foliar Spray: For quick correction of magnesium deficiency, Magnesium sulfate can be applied as a foliar spray. This method delivers magnesium directly to the leaves, promoting rapid uptake and correction of deficiency symptoms, such as yellowing between the leaf veins (interveinal chlorosis).

• Soil Application: Magnesium sulfate can also be applied directly to the soil to supply magnesium and sulfur. It is especially beneficial in sandy soils, which are prone to magnesium leaching, and in soils with low organic matter.
